I have always been captivated by the beauty and wonder of nature. From a young age, I often carried a camera with me, eager to capture and share images of the people and places I experienced.
Over time, I have honed my craft, learning to use light, composition, and timing to create landscape and wildlife images that transport viewers to the very heart and soul of nature. I’ve developed a passion for photography that has grown stronger as time and resources allow increased travel to more remote and breathtaking locations. I find that I’m drawn to places where I feel a sense of wonder, and scenes that instill feelings of peace and awe.
As a photographic artist, I take pride in sharing the beauty of nature with others. Through my images, I hope to inspire others to explore the world we live in and to appreciate its amazing wonders. I believe that photography has the power to enrich lives, to help others see the world and its inhabitants in new and profound ways. I believe well-made images can lift the human spirit, fortified by the wonder of nature; and through photography, the possibilities of making a positive difference on nature, wildlife and our environment are endless.
I am also fortunate to work alongside my wife Marilyn, who not only shares a deep love of nature, but also brings her artistic vision and talents to the compositional processing and curating of each image. Together, we strive to create images that are beautiful, thought-provoking, and emotionally resonant. Our goal is to take viewers on a journey through the natural world, to help them see and experience nature in a more personal and intimate way.
Ultimately, I hope my photography will inspire others to appreciate the beauty and wonder of our natural world, while also inspiring them to protect and preserve it for future generations.
